HYTORC LITHIUM SERIES RX Wins 2025 OTC Spotlight on New Technology™ Award
HYTORC, a global leader in industrial bolting solutions, announced that its LITHIUM SERIES RX (LSRX) has been named a recipient of the 2025 Offshore Technology Conference Spotlight on New Technology Award. The award recognizes innovative technologies that advance the future of offshore energy.
The LSRX is a battery-powered torque tool engineered specifically for offshore oil and gas applications. Designed for hazardous environments, the explosion-proof tool delivers a high level of safety and performance where traditional electric torque tools are limited.
Built with a sealed, corrosion-resistant aluminum housing, the LSRX is designed to withstand rain, salt air, and harsh offshore conditions. This durability helps reduce maintenance requirements while extending overall tool life. A locking battery mechanism prevents accidental disconnection and eliminates spark risks, supporting safer operation in explosive environments. Contactless electronic switching further enhances operational safety and efficiency.
By eliminating the need for an external pump, the battery-powered LSRX simplifies setup while maintaining strong performance. Integrated data capture via Bluetooth technology or USB enables improved recordkeeping and traceability. The LSRX is HYTORC’s sixth recipient of a Spotlight on New Technology™ Award since 2019. In 2024, the company was recognized for the LIGHTNING PUMP Series. In 2022, HYTORC received awards for the MXT+® Hydraulic Torque Wrench and the CONNECT App. The company was also previously honored for the LITHIUM SERIES® II Tool.
