HYTORC Chennai Service Center: Opens in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, India
HYTORC's new Chennai Service Center is now open at S4 Tech Park, Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. It is HYTORC India's second dedicated customer-facing location, alongside the company's established facility in Vadodara. This new center gives maintenance and reliability teams across Tamil Nadu and South India local access to torque tool services and technical support.
Where Is the HYTORC Chennai Service Center Located?
The HYTORC Chennai Service Center is on the ground floor of S4 Tech Park, 262/11B, SH-50B, Mevalurkuppam, Sriperumbudur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 602105.
Sriperumbudur sits inside Chennai's automotive and electronics manufacturing belt, one of South India's most concentrated industrial corridors. That puts the center within easy reach of plants and sites across the wider Chennai and Kanchipuram district area, without a multi-hour drive to reach the nearest HYTORC point of contact.

What Services Does the Chennai Center Provide?
The Chennai Center provides customer-facing torque tool service and technical support, led on the ground by HYTORC's local Chennai-based service technician, with full backing from HYTORC India's wider applications and engineering team.
What this means for you:
- A local point of contact for service inquiries and technical questions
- Direct customer visits, rather than every request routing through HYTORC India's Vadodara facility in Gujarat
- Access to the same applications and engineering expertise behind HYTORC's existing India operation
As the center’s capability builds out, further detail on the specific service and support scope available on-site will be published here and on social media.
What Kind Of In-House Services Are Available at the New HYTORC Chennai Center?
- In-house service, repairs, and calibration for bolting tools up to 27,000 Nm/19,900 ft.-lbs.
- Service, repairs and calibration of air, electric, battery-operated hydraulic pumps.
- Calibration of hydraulic and air pressure gauges up to 10K PSI.
- Calibration of manual torque wrenches available in ¼”, 3/8”, ½”, ¾” and 1” drive sizes.

Why Is HYTORC Expanding into Tamil Nadu and South India Now?
South India's industrial base, particularly Tamil Nadu's automotive, electronics, power generation and wind energy sectors, has grown to the point where a dedicated local presence now makes sense alongside HYTORC's existing Vadodara facility.
Tamil Nadu already accounts for a substantial share of India's installed wind power capacity, and the state's wind manufacturing sector has a published roadmap, from the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association, to expand further, including new manufacturing hubs planned around Ennore and VOC Port. Paired with Chennai's established automotive and electronics manufacturing base and a growing power generation sector, this adds up to a significant volume of bolted-joint maintenance and construction work that no longer needs to wait on support travelling from Gujarat.
The timing also puts HYTORC's newest Indian location in the same city as Windergy India 2026, the country's dedicated wind energy trade fair, running 7 to 9 October 2026 in Chennai.
